“There is something magical in seeing what you can do, what texture and tone and colour you can produce, merely with a pen point and a bottle of ink.”
– Ida Rentoul Outhwaite
Welcome to my little world of wandering words and fleeting moments caught in an instant of light exposure. Hope you like what you find, and even if you don’t, I’m still grateful for being given the chance to share my world with you. Alas, here is another contribution to WordPress’ Weekly Photo Challenge, this time with the theme textures.
I hope you enjoy my photos, for without an audience, a photo is nothing but a play with lights!

It’s hard to explain what the purpose of art is, or to say exactly what it does to us.
But sometimes, when you find yourself in its presence, as we did that day at the Modern Museum of Art in Buenos Aires, where the works of others who decided to see the world differently and consequently produced works of vague value and surreal textures are displayed, it can conjure a moment.
A moment of inspiration, not to necessarily to create a museum-worthy work, but rather just to create something.
And when I saw one of my mates walking ahead of me, seemingly caught in a multidimensional world, dominated by a light texture of light and darkness, I knew I had found my moment.
