“My father used to say that stories are part of the most precious heritage of mankind.” – Tahir Shah
Welcome to my little world of wandering words and fleeting moments caught in an instant of light exposure. Hope you like what you find, and even if you don’t, I’m still grateful for being given the chance to share my thoughts with you. Alas, here is another contribution to WordPress’ Weekly Photo Challenge themed heritage.
I hope you enjoy my photos, for without an audience, a photo is nothing but a play with lights!

Life is fleeting. Everything has it’s use-by-date. Time passes, making obsolete what was once precious, and forgotten what was once dear.
But every now and then, items from the past turn up unexpectedly in our lives, sending ripples across the surface, pulling the curtain on a time when things were different. Not necessarily better or worse, but just different.
I’m no good with cars, but I can safely assume that this car was manufactured at a time when humanity thought bigger, dreamt of things wilder.
I am not one to take pride in my knowledge of cars, but this monstrosity of a vehicle, I thought, must be a heritage of that long-gone era. An era riddled with ambitious and grand schemes, which left us now with a planet at the threshold. A heritage, and a reminder of where we went wrong, and the mistakes we are still making, almost half a century later.
