But while you are here, let me show you my latest contribution to WordPress’s wonderful Weekly Photo Challenge; Repurpose.
I hope you enjoy my photos, for without an audience, a photo is nothing but a play with lights!

Before going to Antarctica, (Read my full story of that insanely, hauntingly beautiful land here) I had invested on a good, sturdy polarised pair of sunglasses which stretched my brittle backpacking budget to within an inch of its sudden, untimely death.
But I had lost the sunnies within a few months of getting back to civilisation and since I had made a pact to myself to hold on to everything that had taken me to that last continent, keeping the case was the next best thing.
But it was a dead weight, and as you can imagine, carrying dead weights in a backpack already bulging and pushed to it’s limits isn’t in the backpacker’s line of work. So, when one day in a Brazilian hostel I began painting on its walls (that story, which was a bit of a revelation in itself, is coming soon. Stay around, it’ll be worth it), I knew instantly what the case had been born to become. The dead weight had finally found it’s purpose.
